Patrick Murray has accepted the position of Reid Hospital & Health Care Services' Orthopedic
Service Line Director as of Monday Sept. 8, Kay Cartwright, chief nursing officer and vice
president, has announced.
"Many Reid team members already know Patrick, who has been with Reid since 2004, as the Manager for Occupational Therapy," Cartwright said Patrick, a Naval Reservist, has been called up for four clinical operations during his 10-year military career.
"He has most recently returned to us from a one-year deployment at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany," Cartwright said. "He brings extensive experience in clinical administration, business plan development, process improvement and marketing. Patrick holds a BS in sports medicine from Purdue, as well as three graduate degrees: Master in Occupational Therapy, Master of Science in Management and Master of Business Administration."
In his new role Patrick will be responsible for the development of the orthopedic service line, Cartwright said. He will work across the organization to ensure the quality of care and patient experience for those Reid serves in this new area of focus.
Patrick and his wife, Emily, live with their children Lauren and Ryan in Richmond.
