Recently appointed director of Home Medical Equipment at Reid Hospital & Health Care
Services, Frank Bohman says his department has prepared both for the move to the new
Reid and an expansion into the community.
Bohman, originally of Brookville and a graduate of Brookville High School, said he foresees increased marketing emphasis for the department, which has already reorganized its delivery practices to promote regular contact between customers and a usual delivery person.
"We're also a little 'liquid heavy' right now," Bohman said. "The
immediate future is with portables and concentrator units, which will allow our patients a
better quality of life. We're taking that into account as we reorganize our service levels."
For 17 years the Midwest regional director of respiratory care resources for Omni Care,
Bohman lived in Muncie where he attended Ball State University.
He and his wife, Michelle, a Reid respiratory therapist, have three children, ages 9, 7 and 2, and live near Cedar Grove.
Active in the community, Bohman coaches three baseball teams for children 7 and 8 years old; he also serves on the church council for Holy Guardian Angels of Cedar Grove
