June Ambassador the warden of wiring

Brenna LynchReid's Ambassador for the Month of June began his career seven years ago in Food & Nutrition Services and switched three years later to Information Services, for whom he now works, supporting and integrating the myriad new communication technologies at the New Reid and analyzing networks.

Matt Cooper, Richmond area resident and Centerville High School grad, reflexively assimilated Reid's C.A.R.E. standards and has, according to his nominators, become one of the most sought trouble shooters in the IS tribe.

"Matt is always helpful," noted a typical endorsement. "He takes his time and makes sure you understand what the issues are and how best to address them."

Similar salutes flowed from five Reid departments with Health Information Management players lining up to praise his work in smoothing the transition to working from home.

Observed one, "He was so helpful, always professional and took time to make sure I understood what to do. He has very good C.A.R.E. standards."

"He's always cheerful and helps in a hurry without making you feel like you should have known what to do without having to ask," offered another. "He treats everyone with the same respect and brings a ‘will do' attitude every time."

"I love the atmosphere here at Reid," Cooper says on his part. "Everyone is dedicated to the patients and their families; I like knowing that I'm helping someone in need."

Cooper is continuing his education at Ivy Tech and does not scant time to play basketball, attend church and enjoy movies.

Summed up a nominating admirer, "He never complains and makes sure that all your requests have been completed in a timely manner. If there's a delay, he'll let you know. He doesn't get upset, even when teased as 'Mini Coop.' A great person."
